My interest in volunteering, reading and traveling has helped me become a better customer service representative in many ways. By volunteering, I have gained a deeper understanding of different cultures, their customs and beliefs, and how to be respectful when dealing with customers from different backgrounds. Doing volunteer work has also helped me to develop important interpersonal skills such as communication, problem solving and negotiation.

Reading has also been a great way to help me become a better customer service representative. Reading books, magazines and websites that focus on customer service topics has given me a better understanding of what customers are looking for and how to better serve them. This has helped me to be more patient, attentive and understanding when dealing with customer inquiries.

Finally, traveling has helped me to become a better customer service representative by allowing me to observe the customer service practices of different countries.
