A Registered Nurse with almost 15 years of pediatric experience at the bedside who prioritizes family centered care and collaboration with the multi disciplinary team in order to provide excellent and compassionate care. Excited about an opportunity to use and further develop skills in a new role as Pediatric Educator. Having precepted multiple new staff and students over the years fostering a positive environment while providing constructive feedback, this will aid in advancing the skills of new staff to match ongoing acuity in the growing and diverse community the Children's Program supports via the Emergency Department and the Inpatient and Outpatient Units. As a quick and self directed learner, resources will be sought out appropriately to aid in the adherence and development of policies. Leaning on the years of experience honing critical thinking and problem solving skills will be vital in taking the next step into a leadership role in this dynamic Children's Program.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (recertified in 2023)
• APHON Certified in Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy (initial in 2019, recertified in 2023)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) (certified last in 2020)
