Led the Client360 Project, a client project valued at about $240 million over ten years, to ensure alignment with strategic goals. This project was meant to revamp the software being used in all RBC branches to harmonize product data. I was a key representative during the execution phase. I developed and implemented Project Management Office (PMO) processes and policies, driving standardization and improving efficiency in project execution, thus leading to a successful national roll-out in all the branches, as scheduled in the roadmap. I received a Quarter 3 Royal Bank of Canada performance team award for this.
Leveraged Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and project management tools like Kanban Boards, RAID Logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), and Agile Project Management methodologies to monitor project performance, track progress, and mitigate risks. These provided a more streamlined way of collaborating with the project team, prevented blockers, and therefore resulted in a great flow of work and automated processes.
Coordinated with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels: Salesforce and Deloitte for the Client 360 project, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Moneris for the Interac audit project, and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) for the Emerald project, ultimately enhancing communication and engagement to ensure that project outcomes met strategic objectives.
Spearheaded team meetings, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint sessions, planning gatherings, and backlog grooming events. In addition, I moderated the Slido Q&A sessions during our monthly all-hands sessions with the senior leadership team, ultimately ensuring real-time data availability, robust data governance, and the adoption of Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools (such as Jira, Confluence, etc.). Workflows were streamlined, and productivity was boosted.
