The IT systems at CIPO (Canadian Intellectual Property Office) are a mixture of new and decade old applications and supporting technologies that can no longer be adequately maintained or enhanced as the development platforms are either obsolete or reaching end-of-life. The objective of the project is to migrate the legacy applications to newer technology.

• I collected the requirements and completed the project scope.
• I worked with the team members to decompose the scope and create the WBS (work breakdown structure) along with the scope baseline.
• I then create the project schedule .
• I created the quality management plan to ensure all quality requirements will be reached once the project is executed.
• I completed all risk assessment by identifying all risks and responses that I stored in the risk register.
• I analyzed all stakeholders for their communication requirements and determine ways to keep them engaged and maintained the information in stakeholder register.
• I analyzed all project activities and assigned resources to create the resource management plan.
• Once the project started executing, I acquired the team and started the work.
• As the project work are getting done, I ensure team conflicts are resolved correctly and stakeholders changes where processed through the project change management processes.
• I also review the work on daily basis to ensure there was no scope creep and it was getting done on time and within budget.
• Once the deliverables are completing, I manage the sponsor acceptance of these deliverables.
• I have developed few modules using Java/J2EE technologies and have done peer reviews to maintain best practices.
• I use Jira and story point estimates to maintain the tracking of the progress.

• Managed team members (10) virtually across different projects and address their concerns.
