Programs:

  • Coordinate and oversee the Brown Bag Lunch program in its entirety. Including, but not limited to, ordering of products and relationship building with all recipient schools, vendors, and program volunteers.
  • Coordinate deliveries with the Brown Bag Lunch driver.
  • Monthly reporting of the number of lunches and other relevant statistics for all programs to the Operations Manager.
  • Monitor each program's monthly budget, and maximize cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and oversee all community kitchen programming.
  • Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and maintain positive relationships with program volunteers.
  • Collaborate with all community partners, including grocery stores, to maintain positive program relationships.
  • Planting and maintenance of all gardens, in conjunction with participating volunteers.
  • Creation of a new programming.
  • Work with the management team to create, maintain, and evaluate participant programming.
  • Keep kitchen spaces food-safe, highly clean, and clutter-free; maintain a daily cleaning schedule.
  • Diffuse escalating situations as needed.

Intake and Emergency Food Pantry:

  • Appointment bookings: Inbound/Outbound phone calls.
  • Assist the Intake Advisor and Intake Assistant with any administrative or intake-related tasks as required.
  • Filing and Client Confidentiality: Ensure accurate information is obtained, filed, and kept confidential for all client appointments and interactions.
  • CRM/Link2Feed system: keeping accurate records using the Link2Feed and G Suite systems.
  • Professionalism: maintain a professional, friendly, and dignified nature with all clients and community interactions.
  • Dignity: working closely with the intake advisor to ensure dignity is provided in all interactions within the intake department, in service to the Emergency Food Pantry.

Assist Event Planning:

  • Assist the events coordinator with the planning and execution of events and fundraisers as required.
  • Attend events/fundraisers if requested.

Team Support:

  • Participate in team and staff activities to foster positive working relationships.
