As the treatment Coordinator for a busy rural Manitoba office I am the face of a place not everyone is excited to visit. Most all my patients are familiar faces in the community, I am able to greet them with warmth and short discussions on life and in our community, farming. I often keep notes on patient files to bring up to always keep them feeling important, such as "Dan bought a cabin in Clear Lake". Putting patients at ease from the moment they arrive. As this is the likely the most important part of my job and helps keep returning patients. I also maintain compliance and confidential records, direct bill their insurance companies, discuss extensive personal treatment and prioritize their visits and discuss sensitive topics while working within their budget. I make payments to our account through insurances using online portals collect patient payments and receivables on a daily basis. My job is to meet a daily financial goal of the dentist within a timely matter, I can efficiently arrange a schedule to meet targets for the office and our dentist often need to re prioritize my work when needed. Clear communication with specialists and government run programs is important especially when referring patients and dealing with the financials. I work with our in house program and scheduler and able to adapt to new changes and updates as needed. I write up lab invoices and prescriptions as needed. I am very comfortable preforming all tasks in the dental office and will pick up where needed daily to help maximize the production.
As a Treatment Coordinator at Brightside Dental, I took it upon myself to understand the dental field a bit more and took it chair side for a year dental assisting and continue to step in where needed. I did this to further my knowledge and understanding of every roll in the dental office and to be able to confidently discuss dental treatment and give patients advice and honest understanding. I was also able to understand the rolls of everyone in the office which helped me become a better treatment coordinator, with respect to time and daily balance to run a smooth effective day. Chairside I preformed all treatments with the dentist, was able to successfully design crowns, cleaned and sterilized instruments, set up and tear down of all treatments and took medical history, patient concerns and was able to communicate to the dentist to help meet their needs.
At One Link Financial I was able to work remote and went into the office as needed. I took care of two successful high profile brokers in the office. I took on the roll of collecting documents, proofing pre qualifications, assisted all clients on gathering documents and paperwork required prior to qualifying. I collected tax returns, bank statements, pay stubs, legal documents where I would upload them onto a online portal and organize them. Coordinated time sensitive documents to lenders for processing, and maintains important relationships with real estate agents, legal vendors, and banks.
In real estate I would prepare opinion of values for real property assessments. Built a strong relationship with clients, colleagues and involved myself as much as possible in the community. I conducted market analysis to asses value of residential, commercial and rural farm properties. I developed a network of attorneys, mortgage lenders and contractors to better ease the process of home or land buying for my clients. I held open houses and arranged viewings and suggestions when clients would list their home.
