As a Product Manager I am currently responsible for implementing a billing system at a large Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance carrier that has a multifaceted role. The responsibilities include strategic planning, project management, stakeholder communication, and ensuring the billing system meets both business and customer needs

Unified Vision and Goals:

• Ensure all teams understand and are aligned with the product vision, goals, and strategy.
• Communicate how each team's work contributes to the overall product objectives.

Roadmap Management:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that incorporates the deliverables from all teams.
• Prioritize initiatives based on strategic goals and resource availability.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Foster collaboration among diverse teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support.
• Facilitate inter-team communication to ensure smooth integration of work streams.

Regular Sync Meetings:

• Organize and lead regular meetings (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to keep everyone on the same page.
• Address dependencies, blockers, and risks proactively.

Financials

• Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits.
  Monitor financial performance and report on budget variances.
  
• Cost Control: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  Implement cost control measures to avoid budget overruns.

Reporting:

• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Highlight key achievements, risks, and any deviations from the project plan.

• Tools used JIRA, Wiki, POSTMAN, MS Visio, Miro, Mural, SharePoint, AWS, Wireframing, Web Services, MS Excel, Basic SQL queries

• Worked in capacity of Lead Business Analyst, to create a new software product that helps users to Rate and Quote insurance policies on a B2B platform
• Implementation of Majesco Billing system at State Farm
