As a dedicated second-year engineering student, I am Umayr Rafiq, deeply passionate about innovation and problem-solving in the engineering realm. My academic journey is a pursuit of knowledge aimed at making significant contributions to the field. My passion stems from the blend of creativity and analytical skills required in engineering, where tackling complex problems and crafting effective, elegant solutions excites me. My commitment to engineering is not just about honing technical skills; it’s about understanding and improving the world around us.

Outside the classroom, my hobbies - socializing, watching movies, and constantly learning new things - help broaden my perspective and keep me connected to diverse experiences. These activities reinforce the idea that engineering is ultimately about enhancing lives. As I continue to develop my technical knowledge and practical skills, I eagerly seek opportunities for real-world applications, be it through internships, projects, or collaborative research. My goal is to not only foresee the future but actively create it, and I am enthusiastic about connecting with professionals, mentors, and peers in the engineering community to exchange ideas and collaborate towards a future where our innovations make a tangible difference.

• Investiture Ceremony Host, 12/2019, I was a host for 2 years for the investiture ceremony and the award was presented to me due to my vocal and speaking skills conveying the information to the audience in a professional and respectable manner.
• High Achievers (GCSE O LEVEL), 08/2020, This award was presented to me due to my academic performance of securing 1A
