  • Perris Mosque Youth Group, Educator, Helped educate people on Islam through homeless clothing and food drives, meeting with elected officials like Mark Takano. I worked with homeless and sometimes even destitute people to serve them and the rest of the community.
  • Fashion Revolution USA, Ambassador, I am starting in this organization presently, as an ambassador. I want to suggest ideas to make systemic change and to change the connotation and image of fashion as superficial and wasteful. Currently, I am working on initiatives like word-of-mouth and social media posts of statistics and other compelling information to inspire people to adapt to smarter and more democratic fashion practices. I want to take a worldly and sensitive approach to this.
  • UCR Transfer Peer Mentor Program, Peer Mentor, I taught students the ins and outs of being a transfer student at UC Riverside and showed them how to assimilate into the University life and structure. I worked with the program manager to distribute resources on being a working student and staying out of habits that could aggravate mental health. used calendars to schedule appointments with them and keep track of their classes and extracurricular activities.

Volunteer Work

Fashion Revolution USA: I used Slack to share information and articles related to sustainable fashion. I attended Zoom meetings and used social media to network and engage with fellow ambassadors of Fashion Revolution and innovators of the arts. I am implementing social media campaigns and writing to educate the world on equitable and sustainable practices.


University of CA, Riverside Transfer Peer Mentor Program: I taught students the ins and outs of being a transfer student at UC Riverside and showed them how to assimilate into student life. I worked with the program manager to distribute resources with patience and understanding. I used calendars to schedule appointments with them and keep track of their classes and extracurricular activities.
