Tyson Johnston

Victoria

Summary

My goal is to become a police constable with the Victoria Police Department. Growing up in a policing family, I’ve been inspired by the positive impact officers have on the community. I’m a responsible, hardworking individual with a strong desire to help others in times of need. My experience includes working with underserved community members and over a year at Island Health Protection Services, where I gained skills in medical response, de-escalation, problem-solving, and physical intervention. I thrive in both team environments and solo tasks, and I lead a healthy lifestyle. I believe my skills and dedication make me a strong candidate for a career in policing, and I’d be honored to join the Victoria Police Department.
