- Working from Victoria to Port Hardy setting string line for Gamaco curb machine. Setting forms. Grade prep for paving, sidewalk, mono sidewalk. Paving highways, driveways, sidewalk, patching.
- Pounding string line pins with sledge hammer then setting hubs for plum and height specification, problem solving, eye in string line and make adjustments for cosmetic/water flow.
- Help setup Gamaco for proper curb offset/grade, catch or reverse gutter, change curb pans, vibrators.
- Set curb/slab forms for desired curb specs using hubs/existing buildings, concrete or asphalt to maintain or create water drainage.
- Work behind Gamaco curb machine installing expansions, catch basins, driveways, wheelchair ramps etc to create a quality product.
- Pour and finish sidewalk, Driveways, Slabs with various finishes including exposed aggregate, Broom, Trowel, stamped etc. cutting control joints and installing expansion joints as needed.
- Working with machine operator to grade prep for paving or concrete using boning rods, Laser level, Straight edge, Rakes etc. Grade to desired water drains or percentage.
- Help create a smooth quality product with paving machine, making asphalt roads, Driveways, Sidewalk, Patching, Mill and fill, Shoveling, Checking with level for proper drainage, Shoeing in/plate tamping to seal up asphalt, Finish roll, Operate skid steer with bucket or broom.
