Correctional Peace Officer with history of exercising sound judgment and reasoned thinking over elven years of employment. As well to use my previous acting time and recently being used as an acting supervisor seconded on A shift to cover an open supervisors line from April to August of 2023. And use this experience for future endeavors at the Calgary Remand Center
-Act as correctional peace officer supervisor

-Completed Correctional peace officer supervisor training course (in house)

-Ensure safe environment for staff and offenders

-Keep Active logs on units
-Report writing for incidents
-Checking expiration on Fire extinguisher, interchanging expired tanks
-Tending to the Fire Room
-Providing support to officers whenever needed
-Helping Officers obtain resources for further help
-Community Helpers certificate through AHS (2017)
-Help Train and evaluate new officer after they have completed COBT
-Provide guidance for officers
-Operating the body scanner
-Helping newer staff understand how the scanner works and read scans
