I spent two weeks of my Spring Break interning in the mental health department at the Central Hospital University of Kigali. While I was there my passion to help people through their problems with psychology grew and became more profound. I learned more through the experience of watching several consultations than I would through a textbook. I was very intrigued and further determined to pursue psychology.

• Over the span of two summers, I worked at First Impressions and the two years I worked at this daycare were very fulfilling. The roles I played at this daycare ranged from teacher assistant, teacher, and administrator for a summer camp. These were the day-to-day tasked i was trained in:
• Assisted teachers with classroom management and document coordination to maintain positive learning environment.
• Set up visual aids, equipment and classroom displays to support teacher's lesson delivery.
• Supported instructor with test administration, curriculum development and assignment grading.
• Oversaw groups of students at school and off-site locations, maintaining optimal safety and security.
• Completed and filed daily paperwork for classroom activities, including meal count sheets and attendance logs.
