For as long as I can remember I've wanted to work in the medical field in order to properly help those in need. I began by helping physically disabled children feel comfortable about their bodies by leading them through different activities such as swimming and other sports in the Will Club. Then, I completed a student attachment at the military hospital in Shanghai, and witnessed firsthand how important the role of a surgeon is in improving, and often saving, the lives of others. My attachment in Gleneagles has taught me the infrastructure of a hospital, and the importance of each and every role: from lab technician to pharmacist to doctor and everything in-between. Passionate, committed, and hardworking are the three qualities that would describe best me, and I am excited to continue my medical journey.
