Summary

In 2017, I found recovery from addiction and a new sense of purpose and direction in life. My daughter was born around this time and I left my career as a carpenter to stay home and care for her. During this time I returned to post secondary and completed a bachelors of arts in psychology, counseling, and human development- graduating with academic distinctions for achieving a better than 4.0 cumulative average. During this time I was also dedicated to my role supporting individuals struggling with addiction and other mental health crises to find stability and recovery.
