• Inspect locomotive systems to assess function and uncover defects on different types of GO Transit locomotives.
• Inspect air compressors, turbos, head liner and piston packs, injectors, fuel and oil pumps (electrical and mechanical), cooling fans, grid blower motors, grids, traction motor blowers, traction motors, radiators and other electrical and mechanical parts.
• Troubleshoot for bad circuits, switches, low and high voltage grounds.
• Closely monitor equipment to detect and report malfunctions and prevent accidents.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on GO transit locomotives.
• Perform locomotive service critical repairs.
• Perform #1 Brake Test, brake inspection on locomotive and consist air brake systems to comply with Transport Canada regulations.
• Operate overhead cranes to lift parts to locomotives.
• Daily inspections on Go Transit locomotives and coaches.
• Respond to emergency conditions or breakdowns and repair following applicable safety procedures and rules.
• Do inbound and outbound inspections to ensure locomotives are fixed properly.
• Record production, repair and routine maintenance information.
• Supervise and train new technicians.
• As a relief supervisor included daily meetings to discuss OTP management and safety topics.
• Conduct safety briefings to employees before any work has started.
• Review service request on inbound GO Transit equipments for any defect's, make necessary repairs and provide updates to ongoing issues
• Assign employees of all daily job assignments.
• Applied leadership and problem-solving skills to maintain efficiency and organize workflows to meet daily demands.
• Record fuel on GO Transit locomotive to ensure they are ready to be dispatch.
• Reviewed company processes and suggested methods that would improve overall safety for all employees.
• Perform task risk assessments.

• Perform scheduled inspections and unscheduled repairs, including component replacements on coaches, including, but not limited to, truck change out, tread brake change, actuator change out, wheel change out, safety inspections and brake test on consist.
• Complete interior and exterior inspections of the coach, including all subsystems and safety equipment.
• Inspect equipment and complete repairs to ensure that GO Transit locomotives and coaches are adequately prepared for dispatch.
• Perform scheduled inspections and unscheduled repairs, including component replacements on GO Transit locomotives, including but not limited to engine components, systems (fuel, lubricating oil, cooling, central air, compressed air, truck assembly, and GO Transit locomotive electrical system), and running gear.
• Dumping and charging of coach toilets and unclog blockages as needed. Fill the water tank and glycol tank.
• Perform repairs using all related hand and power tools such as but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and measuring instruments.
• Movement of rail equipment as required.
• Provide Clerical staff information to generate service requests and work orders.
• Equipment Fault finding with corresponding repairs.
• Travelling off-site to outpost locations for repairs, troubleshoot and repairing equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

● In charged of contracted homes in the neighborhood for snow removal Nov -April · Clean and maintain snow removal of serval properties with the York Region.

• · Snow Removal and Salting of Commercial properties and homes. (Ensure driveways are safe walkways and sidewalks
• Salting ensuring safety of walkways/Sidewalks.
• Maintenance of Commercial properties and homes. (Mowing, trimming, cutting and lawn care)
• Equipment Maintenances and servicing
• Create and distribute clients Contracts and billing. Providing quotes as requested
• Providing customer services and ensuring all contractual duties are kept maintain.
