• Worked on the Trans Mountain Pipeline serving as a pre-commissioning Lead Hand at Westridge Marine Terminal and Sumas.
• Receiving permits for work crew and interacting closely with operations staff, walking down and planning scope of work; troubleshooting, repairs and verifying electrical (Troubleshooting Valves, MCC buckets, motors, & VFDs)
• Worked closely with LOTO to ensure proper isolation and working with site superintendents to issue NOEs Site wide, prior to energizations
• Currently working at Imperial Oil (SHRED) renewable diesel Expansion in Edmonton.

• Lead hand Position at various sites including: CNRL Horizon, Albian, (PDH) Propane Dehydrogenation Interpipeline, Kearl Lake (Imperial)
• Terminated mining trailing cables into coupling and connectors 5 kV & 13.8 kV (Floating E-houses and pump houses on tailings ponds; using boats)
• Various MI and SR heat tracing on various lines using isometrics following site specific details
• Repaired MI Heat tracing and was certified in nVents 2 day Mineral Insulated Splicing Course

• Ran raceways including(EMT,Rigid EMT, ladder tray, instrument tray, etc)
• Excellent 2-way radio communication skills
• Physically fit for climbing for long periods of time in various areas of the plant
• Gland & Terminate a variety of MCC, motors, circuit breakers and transformers
• Ability to maintain inspection and maintenance records and perform necessary repairs

• Site training for proper lockout/ tagout procedures
• Tested/ troubleshoot equipment using multi-meters, meggers , and various testing equipment
• Installed and fabricated different sizes of cable tray from instrument tray, ladder tray and instrumentation raceway, with a high understanding of the code rules for installation
• Grounding/bonding and expansions were strictly followed
• Ensured compliance with all appropriate safety procedures

• Worked in a EATL Heathfield Convertor substation (greenfield)
• Assisted crane using effective hand signals to install various equipment including capacitor banks, insulators, light standards, lightening arrestors
• Worked extended hours on weekdays and weekends
• Dug trenches for cable runs and ground grid, using crimpers and clams for proper grounding requirements
• Pulled Cable underneath flooring for the AC and DC buildings.

• Maintained installed and tested fire alarm systems
• Installed EMT and Rigid conduit using hand benders and hydraulic benders
• Able to plan and pull 3-phase circuits
• Installed and repaired electrical wiring, equipment and lighting fixtures according to blueprint specifications
• Utilized critical thinking, mathematical and problem solving skills for tasks assigned by the foreman
