Accomplishments

In July 2023, I was awarded the Parkin Family Nurse Practitioner Scholarship for the academic year 2023/24.

In May 2023, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Rwanda with the Canada-Rwanda Open Heart Team as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse. Our team performed seven successful open-heart surgeries for young men and women with rheumatic heart disease and/or congenital heart conditions.

In September 2021, I was awarded the Arthene McMerty SANE Memorial Award for the exceptional care provided to my patients. This is particularly special to me as it was voted on by my peers.
