Work History

Head Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach

Golden Valley High School
Canyon Country, CA
08.2025 - 03.2026

I was responsible for the day-to-day coaching of the boys Varsity basketball team. This included the development of the eventual Foothill League Champions with a 22-9 record on a tough schedule. It was the first outright league title in 17 years! We made the quarter finals of CIF, which was something that hasn’t happened at Golden Valley High

School since 2009! More importantly, the team finished with a team grade point average of 4.2! Their successes both in the classroom and on the

basketball floor had a trickle-down effect to the JV and Freshman levels that have created a winning culture within the basketball program

Owner & Director of Creators Basketball

Self-employeed
Santa Clarita, CA
03.2016 - Current

With over 150 players currently under my wing, I’m responsible for all basketball related development from both individual and team standpoints.

This includes player development in all aspects: Individual skillset, athletics and its relation to the game of basketball, and the education of all of the offensive and defensive systems. I am also responsible for all email correspondence, tournament scheduling, recruiting, advertising, uniform/gear design, orders, and team events. Currently, we have two teams that are ranked in the western part of the US. I have developed

numerous high school Varsity and collegiate basketball players within the SCV. Players include Andrew Meadow that is currently a starter and highest paid player in school history at Boise State, Jonathan Hakim, Gavin Ciccirone, Justin Perez, Amari Robinson, Jaiarby Brown, Chris Joo, Zach Williams, Donovan Ware, Donovan Chapman, Jayden Harper, Jacob Mazy, Tristan Tiu, Alex Villejo, DJ Humphries, Akin Branco, and Tyler Gray. We have developed professional players such as Ethan Chung, Austin Galluppo, Devin Funchess, Jonathan Guzman, Isaac Davis, Isaac Etter, Taylor Statham, Sam Bauer, (prep currently but for sure will play in college next year), Eric Williams, Kwame Alexander, Ty Glover, Noah Bigirumwami, Garret Nevels, Justin Pierce, Mike Fey, Mike Creppy, Sheldon Wright, Anthony Hamilton, and Chuck Garcia.

Asia Basket Head Coach

Statham Academy
Manila, Phillipines
09.2023 - 12.2023

Head Coach for Statham Academy Asia Basket Professional team in the Philippines. We were the first American team to ever participate. We finished 2nd place overall and were able to get many of our young players that were fresh out of college to earn professional contracts in different countries. I was responsible for recruiting, organizing a practice schedule and daily practice plan for locals and those abroad. The implimentation and teaching of numerous offensive and defensive schemes. Organizing travel as well as team bonding activities during our time in the Phillipines.

Head JV Basketball Coach /Boys Varsity Assistant Coach

Oaks Christian
Westlake, CA
08.2018 - 02.2022

I was responsible for all player development from both athletic and skill standpoints for high school, middle school, and elementary school. A

major focus for the JV team was developing them to get them ready for the Varsity level. I was a trusted member of Coach Wild’s staff and it was a pleasure to coach at such an established school. Coaching for a

Christian school was a blessing as I was able to incorporate many biblical teachings at practices, during film sessions, etc. I was also responsible for the weight room and athletic training/conditioning.

Head Basketball Coach

Legacy Christian Academy
Valencia, CA
01.2016 - 03.2018

I was responsible for all player development for all of their teams/age groups (1st – 8th grade). Coaching younger kids really makes a coach establish a language and know terminology in order to simplify advanced concepts to children. Coaching at a Christian school enabled me to directly utilize and integrate biblical teachings while also teaching the game.

Head Basketball Coach

US Basketball University
Santa Clarita, CA
06.2012 - 03.2020

I was responsible for all player development in their weekly skills clinic as well as being a head coach for one of their teams. This is a local, lower-

level league, however, coaching these younger age groups (1st – 8th grade) that are very new to the game forced me to establish a language in order to teach advanced concepts in a simple manner to children. Most of the focused players in Satna Clarita would end up also playing for Creators Basketball and would go on to be key players in the Foothill League. Many of them are still playing today in college!

Damage Controlman Petty Officer

US Navy
Pearl Harbor, HI
05.2008 - 05.2012

Entering into the US Navy as an E1, I ascended to E4 by the end of my four year enlistment. My initial plans were to try out to be a Navy SEAL but it was derailed by an ACL tear just prior to attending BUD/s. I reclassified as a Damage Controlman, which is essentially a Fireman. I was trained to handle any potential damage that could happen on a ship under attack including fires flooding. I had many collateral responsibilities such as being the Command Fitness Leader, a member of the Visit, Board, Search and Seizure Team, and a Search and Rescue Swimmer. For a younger sailor, I was entrusted with much more responsibilities that my peers as I quickly proved that I was someone that could be relied upon by my Chiefs and 1st Class Petty Officers. While enlisted, I earned two very special awards, which were the Navy Good Conduct Medal and The Military Outstanding Voluntary Service Ribbon for all my time spent volunteering for a variety of causes. One being a volunteer basketball coach for both the Special Olympics and the Pearl Harbor Base league for the children of military members for all branches of the military on Oahu.

College Basketball Player

The Master's University / Bethesda University
Santa Clarita, CA
2013 - 2017

When playing 20 minutes per game, I averaged 15 points, 7 rebounds, and three assists per game on less than one turnover per game. I shot 52% from 3 my junior year in college at The Master’s and led the GSAC in 3 point percentage. I was a handful of shot attempts away from leading the entire nation. At Bethesda, after joining the team mid-way through the year, I quickly became an integral part of the team. In my first game, we beat NCAA D1 Cal State Northridge, making it the first time an NCCAA team beat an NCAA D1 where I finished with 15 points.

Professional Basketball Player

Statham Academy
Manila. Phillipines
10.2023 - 12.2023

Won 2nd place in Fil Basket as the first American team that was ever accepted into the tournament. I was the starting combo guard for the tournament while keeping a focus on showcasing our players fresh out of college in hopes of getting them their next job offers. I ended up being top 5 in assists and number 1 in 3 point field goals made.

Professional 3x3 Basketball Player

USA Basketball
USA
2019 - Current

Played/qualified for USA National 3x3 by placing top 4 at USA Olympic Los Angeles qualifier in both 2019 and 2023. We ended up placing top 8 nationally in which we narrowly lost both times to the eventual team that would go on to represent the United States in the Olympics for 3x3 basketball. We won the 2024 Venice Beach 3x3 Tournament. We were runner's up in Las Vegas 3x3 Redbull 2023 tournament.
