Please consider my attached resume for Braillest. To your team, I would bring almost a decade of full-time, directly-related experience being, Special Education related skills as well as relations with other Staff and students. The majority of my experience, has been working with mature students one-on-one, in small groups, in the community and within integrated classroom settings. This experience would allow me to work with many types of clients in a calm and empathetic manner. Also, I work well in teams as I have a great amount of patience, and am able to communicate in a respectful and professional manner. Throughout my career so far, I have had the privilege to work with a diverse group of individuals with varying and unique needs. I feel these experiences have provided me with valuable opportunities to master many of the skills often seen in my profession including communication delays, orientation and mobility, independence building, written expression, social awareness cues and self-confidence. However, should I require further training to better suit this position, I am willing and open to whatever may be required.   • This position requires a great deal of energy and quick problem solving while working with students with significant cognitive delays, autism, and/or high medical needs
  • In this role creativity, personalized programming and excellent communication within the student's full support team is required
  • I am required to aid the students with toileting, tube feeding, oxygen therapy and varied lifts as needed.
  • Assisted visually impaired professionals in their daily tasks by providing prompt and accurate transcriptions of essential documents and correspondence.
  • Maintained confidentiality when working with sensitive materials, ensuring that client privacy was always respected.
