PURCHASING

• Negotiate favorable contract terms with suppliers, resulting in significant cost savings.
• Responsible for ensuring that company's procurement fully supports the customer orders and internal work orders in a timely manner.
• Analyze annual volume usage in order to calculate rolling 12-month forecasts on key raw materials and negotiate contracts to maximize value.
• Develop and maintained relationships with existing and potential vendors.
• Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitored progress and contacted related departments and suppliers to resolve problems that arise.

ADMINISTRATION/ ACCOUNT PAYABLES

• Posting vendor invoices.
• Process invoices and followed up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed.
• Keep track of accounts payable and vendor credits to reconcile properly on Aquilon/ERP system.
• Run check/EFT every two weeks to ensure payments are made on time.

• Execute the negotiation of purchase requisitions/ orders
• Adapt negotiation strategies to cope with new circumstances or issues that arise
• Liaise between global suppliers, manufacturers, and relevant internal departments
• Propose alternate arrangements in the event of shortages or delayed deliveries to minimize the impact on the delivery schedule
• Provide support to the Sourcing Manager to plan and execute all sourcing processes and recommend cost-savings alternatives to select the best vendor or equipment model.
• Contributed to annual savings by negotiating contracts with strategic suppliers

• Implemented purchasing process from sending inquiry, negotiating sales agreement terms to finalizing contract and sending out Purchasing Orders (PO)
• Followed up delivery date and payment due date to ensure goods arrive at warehouse on time, with right amount of quantity and expected quality
• Supported Bidding / Accounting Team on technical datasheets, bidding documents like MSDS, Certificate of Quality, Certificate of Compliance, Letter of Authorization from manufacturer.
• Key Achievement: getting discount around 10~15% on every project; finding 10 new qualified suppliers.

• Conducted market research for qualified suppliers and selected new suppliers based on QCD (Quality - Cost – Delivery) analyst
• Managed purchasing orders for three plants and cooperated with S&OP and warehouse department to guarantee smooth-running production for each plant
• Issued and updated PO on SAP system based on materials requisition, then performed Import procedure, monitored upcoming goods strictly, and made sure all goods arrive on schedule, in quantity, and in quality
• Constantly reviewed performance of suppliers in terms of criterions such as OTIF (On time in Full), price, product quality, and after-sales service.
• Maintained excellent weekly and monthly reports; daily reports in peak seasons or if necessary
