I am pleased to offer my resume for consideration as Senior Director Safety, Health and Wellness. I have been working in health, safety, training and operations for 25 years - 10 years with a national transportation group dedicated to Walmart Canada. I currently work with the City of Cornwall as Safety Training and Operations Supervisor but also filled in as the acting position as Parks and Landscaping Supervisor, coupled with assisting the roads department when required to lead the operation. The many years working in the municipal sector has given me so much opportunity to learn and understand the inner workings of all department operations. This experience has led me to take on the role as president of the Eastern Ontario Roads Supervisors Association and executive with the Roads Association of Ontario. Job skills over the years included managing full and part time employees, working with customers, contractors, stakeholders, various government agencies and municipal leaders. Other responsibilities included but not limited to, interviewing and hiring of staff, WSIB claims management, budgetary responsibilities, purchase orders and tenders, labour relations and negotiations in a unionized environment, various municipal works project oversight, equipment training and health and safety job tasks. I am a resourceful, self-motivated and proven leader with critical thinking and problem-solving skills along with the ability to work supportively within a team environment and communicate effectively at all levels. I bring an enthusiastic, diligent and a dedicated attitude together with the ability to adapt readily to varying job demands. I am always open to new ideas and challenges and feel that my experiences may serve as an excellent foundation in this position. I would appreciate the opportunity of an interview to discuss my talents in greater detail and thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Tommy Sauve
