Tom Finley

I currently work part time in the Gang Reduction Intervention program. I work with at-risk kids and their families in South Orange County who are showing concerning behavior, academic or attendance behaviors. I also conduct good character and decision making education assemblies for schools.

I was an Investigator for 3.5 years, where I worked Domestic Violence and Child Abduction. I was promoted to Supervising Investigator and was assigned to supervise the Family Protection Unit and Human Trafficking Unit. I retired honorably after 7.5 Years. The District Attorney's Office then offered me a part time 960 position, which I accepted.

While at the District Attorney's Office, I was assigned to the Dignitary Protection Unit, and was deployed as needed.

*Police Sergeant - Organized Crime Unit, Adjutant to the Chief of Police, Gang Unit, Metro Unit, Patrol.

*Detective - Narcotics (majors and street level, Homicide.

*Patrol Officer - Served as a training officer.

SWAT - 15 years, SWAT Commander, Asst. SWAT Commander, Sniper Team Leader, Sniper, Entry Team.
