At the height of this endeavour I was responsible for the day to day operations of a 1200 plant facility, leading a team of 3 master Growers and 15 employees.
Rather than apply for my own licence, I consulted several companies as they applied for and were ultimately granted LP’s. These include Pure Pharma (HeritageCannabis) & Doja (canopy).
My most recent expertise has been in developing breeding programs focused on specific terpene profiles based on market demand.
I have a proprietary method of making feminised pollen, and can make any mother plant into S1 feminised seed!
Core job duties:
Utilized deep knowledge of cultivation techniques to establish and enforce quality control points minimizing deviations and ensuring product consistency.
Supervised daily cultivation activities by assigning tasks, training new team members, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.
Planned and managed planting, harvesting, and crop rotation schedules to keep production running smoothly.
Monitored crop health, including pest and disease checks, irrigation, fertilization, and environmental conditions.
Maintained a safe, clean, and organized work environment and enforce safety procedures.
Oversaw maintenance and upkeep of equipment, tools, and farm facilities.
Higher Ground was my own brand I built as an entrepreneur pre legalization, and I became the 15th ever designated grower under health canada’s original MMAR program. (coincidently this is now the Doja medical facility in west kelowna.)

He is an elder of cannabis and someone who has been working with the plant for many years. I would recommend him as a person as well as someone with a deep knowledge of plants, genetics, and passion for cannabis. I know sometimes it is thought/said that people who have grown for a long time are 'set' in the ways or have a bad attitude to change, but in Todd's case I feel that does not represent him. Further Qualifications
Strong understanding of genetics & breeding and plant care including a comprehensive knowledge of strains (sativa, indica and hybrids)
Extensive Knowledge and experience with both boutique and medium scale commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, air flow, etc. and the harvesting/trimming, drying, curing, manicuring process.
Extensive experience in propagation & cloning.
Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing and harvesting medical cannabis products for consumption (including storage/handling techniques).
Strong expertise in mold and pest prevention without the use of synthetic/commercial pesticides, including the assistance of environmental variables.
Significant experience with regards to growing room / facility layouts as well as expertise with and knowledge of different strains of medical cannabis.
Experience with operating industrialized indoor grow systems and mastery of soil growing methods (including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation).
Ability to think in both small and large scales.
Trustworthy and hard working.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage time, set priorities and handle many obligations at the same time.
Strong verbal communication, leadership and managerial skills.
