Roles And Responsibilities
Managing customers, those delivering vehicles, updating about finished / pending work, parts not available etc., parts requisitions, historical analysis for recommendations and raising special orders on parameters for parts not available., Providing detailed technical report and justifications for additional repairs with cost estimates., Regular follow up with workshop controllers and technicians on vehicle status, to ensure delivery of vehicles within proposed time frame., Follow up on warranty repairs., Raising repair orders and Preparing invoices on internal system., Follow up payments of credit customers and ensure collection within stipulated time., Regularly monitor orders raised and ensure timely billing., Conducting post service follow up to ensure customer satisfaction., Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel and petrol vehicles, including trucks, buses and light vehicles., Inspecting and testing vehicles; preventive maintenance activities., Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards., Accurately and time recording of service and repairs., Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
