It was my first experience working in a hospital and I am grateful for all I have learned
Responsible for bringing two clinics into compliance with state and federal bodies

Put in place policies on patient return calls and refill expectations; set up patient portal: Initiated automated appointment call program
Increased patient collections, and improved patient visits along with making sure no patient was turned away by customizing provider schedules

I created a cohesive team that was respectful and patient-centered
Included providers in all decision-making by holding monthly meetings to address any issues, I made sure the providers had a voice at the table and lobbied to get the providers additional funding for training and equipment
When I joined the practice The hospital had launched a new EMR system unfortunately there was not a lot of training at the time of going live, so I initiated a training program for them over the course of 4 months
Over the two years with the practice, I set up and conducted several quality improvement projects including A1-C, PHQ9 Depression screening, Breast screening, Psychotropic consents
I was on the following boards: Quality, Admin, and Infection Control, and I worked with outside groups including SAHA.
