Field Office Manager

Coolsaet Pipeline, BFC(now Aecon), R.B. Somerville
09.1998 - 08.2003

I started with Coolsaet in Accounts receivable in 1998. I transferred up to the Ottawa area in 1999 to help set up and manage a field office for gas installation. Job included sending for locates, timesheets for up to ten crews, equipment rentals when needed, security and keeping track of accounts receivable and payable. This job was based on contracts. Coolsaet lost the contract and I got a job with BFC for a season and a half until they lost the contract then I got offered a job with R.B.Somerville. I worked part of the season then moved back to Brantford and went back with Coolsaet as they had the contract for Brantford/Niagara area. I worked outside with a crew for a couple of seasons until they lost the contract. In 2003 I went to Frederickton New Brunswick with Coolsaet to set up a field office to help hire and train someone to run the office. I was there two months. I was offered the job to move there, but I declined.
