I have been doing low voltage installations for the past 2 years. Creating many teams conference rooms with different size monitors, speakers, microphones and cameras integrated into the control rack. I was in the live TV and live event industry for over 10 years. I am highly experienced in projection and LED screens builds. I am Forklift certified, can drive boom lift and scissor lifts. I am familiar with how to make Cat5 / Cat6, BNC, XLR, speakon, and edison cable repairs. I can manage large crews and work alone in different environments.
As a Senior Installation Technician, I work with project managers and design engineers to plan and execute Audio and Video installations for various sites. Install PTZ cameras on walls, install ceiling speakers and ceiling microphones in conference rooms, install wall mounted monitors. Run cables from the rack location to all destinations according to the blueprint drawings. Terminate cables, install encoders and decoders. Build and wire racks according to drawings and Redline drawings.
As an AV Technician I would run cables in accordance to the design engineers drawings. Hang projectors and projector screens for classrooms. Hang speaker arrays for auditoriums. Terminate cable ends such as Cat6, XLR, BNC. speakon, phenix, edison. Build control racks and mark drawings with redlines.
As a display engineer I planned events with the project managers and then went to site where I would build and install the equipment and troubleshoot any issues. I started in the warehouse level and worked my way up to Engineering. I am very knowledgeable in building and programming LED screens using NovaStar, Brompton, and Megapixel processors. I have used Christie and Panasonic projectors on various large projection screen sizes and projection mapping.
