Red Deer Rebels, Red Deer, Alberta, Partnering with the Red Deer Rebels, I organized and travelled with several Rebels Players to the Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside., We met with willing active addicts to hear their stories and what led them to their addiction., After completing the trip, I organized and travelled around Central Alberta with the Rebels presenting to students the risks of drug use and utilizing the information/observations from the trip.
NCAA/WHL
- Familiar with recruitment processes for both leagues.
- I wrote my SAT’s and had discussions with NCAA Scouts.
- Listed by multiple WHL Teams and attended several Rookie/Main Camps.
- Acted as an advisor for my younger brother who played four seasons in the WHL.
- I spoke to several Pro Teams on his behalf and negotiated a ECHL contract for him.
- This included a AHL Tryout with the Iowa Wild.
