  • Design and system integration for both vertical and side-by-side dual 4K projector 3D configurations. Performed projector mount designs, internal cabling, and circuit design in compliance with DCI FIPS security requirements.
  • “Men in Black3” 3D Premier in Berlin, Germany
  • On-site design consultant for Sony Pictures’ feature premier using 3 "Twin Peaks" 3D systems to providing solution for a 85 foot screen accommodating attendance of up to 7000 viewers at the O2 World (now Mercedes Benz) arena. Set Guinness world record for the largest 3D movie audience.

Served as Engineering Team Lead meeting aggressive timeframe for full conceptual drawing and technical specification package assisting the conversion to detailed design to be part of RFP for project bid. Designed Telecine, Film Scanning, and VTR areas as part of detailed design.

  • Provided systems that could be maintained without staff engineers thus maximizing client capitol. Designed and tested Production/Graphics department with 3 Final Cut Pro HD suites, Apple Xserve RAIDs, Bright Systems shared RAID, Discreet Logic Smoke HD, Mac Graphics suite with Combustion, Photoshop, After Effects, Fiber Channel/Ethernet equipment. Installed Linux maintenance servers to allow SSH login for remote vendor support of all systems
  • Ascent Media Digital Media Distribution Center (DMDC), Burbank, CA
  • Met Project Manager’s vision of quickly developing, while on-site, an extensive drawing package that leveraged the knowledge and expertise of DMDC staff engineers while allowing them to continue to support daily operations. Achieved detailed designs of 7 Film to Tape transfer suites, Format Conversion rooms, Final Cut Pro systems, Syndication, and Distribution systems.

  • Supervised 12-person engineering team in emergency development of proposal for the CNN New Columbus Circle facility in New York. Enabled team to breakdown over 700 detailed design drawings into an accurately compiled and priced Excel equipment schedule in 30 days meeting RFP deadline.

  • Proposed solution for multimedia teaching system consisting of 20 heterogeneous seats of editing and effects workstations on a common NAS/SAN storage platform, including format conversion and streaming systems, and HD capable studio and production control room.
  • Crawford Communications, Atlanta, Ga
  • Proposal consisted of a set of transition systems needed to maintain operations during all phases of the relocation and rebuild of all Crawford facilities.
