- Monitor, operate, maintain, test, and adjust the Wastewater Collection System for compliance.
- Ensure all equipment is properly monitored, inspected, evaluated, and that operating status records are prepared at the end of each shift.
- Respond to wastewater-related calls, including blockages, odors and lift station failures; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Engage in the maintenance, operation, rehabilitation, and repair of the wastewater collection system, including mains, laterals, siphons, force mains, lift stations, and maintenance holes.
- Inspect wastewater system for completed capital and development projects.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as combination sewer flusher/vacuum/hydro excavation units, CCTV push cameras, pipeline cleaning, and infrastructure locating tools.
- Perform CCTV inspections and condition assessments using remote-controlled CCTV equipment.
