-Responsible for greeting the runners that arrive for run kit pickup.

-Directing people to correct stations for kit pickup and managing the boxes with bibs and numbers.

-Helping with refills and assisting with concerns/questions.

- Helping run painting workshops at Kensington Gardens, a retirement home.

1. BIOLOGY: Adaptation and Biodiversity/ Molecular and Cell Biology and Genetics

• Had to research and write multiple research articles as part of the courses.
• Gained proficiency in lab techniques including micro pipetting, gel electrophoresis, PCR and microscopy.
• Dissected and analyzed live organisms, conducted trait and adaptation studies, replicated E. coli, and isolated genes of interest.

• Intensive course with units dedicated to Neurodevelopment, Cognition, Memory, Sleep, and Sensory Systems.
• Learned about Neurological and Neurodegenerative disorders with emphasis on the role of Dopamine.

9. MOLECULAR GENETICS:

• Covered Mendelian Genetics, Non- Mendelian Genetics, Linkage and Molecular Genetic techniques and Genetics Libraries.
• Knowledge on implications of genetics in diseases, health, and drawbacks of genetic analysis.
