• Engineered and manufactured a modular rudder and wind vane mounting system for the oceanic watercraft, featuring an integrated wind vane box and precision offset mount for enhanced adaptability.
• Designed and manufactured custom gaskets that significantly boosted the sealing performance of the wind vane box, achieving superior waterproofing verified through 100+ hours of in-water testing.

• Main design engineer and manufacturer of the autonomous steering system, allowing the alternation between autonomous and manual control of steering. Manufactured all parts of system.
• Helped identify issues in the autonomous braking system, decreased overall mounting load by 20% while maintaining a factor of safety of 2+.
• Provided advice on material choice and structural geometry, resolved placement issue by providing an alternative location of mounting with a different style mount.

• Translated technical and legal documents from Chinese to English, including quality control inspection checklists, user manuals, collaboration agreements, NDAs, etc.
• Participated in the testing of different power generators for incinerators. Compared options by evaluating power output, efficiency, size, cost, noise level, etc.
• Participated in testing for wearable cameras used for construction sites, Tested its ability to capture distances and tolerances, the stability of the capture, and the real-time upload speed.

Conducted chemical analysis on the 800+ different chemicals stored in the Peraton facility, sorting them into sections based on chemical properties and flammability to prepare for proper storage. Still used by current employees.
