I am a well educated ,safety conscience autonomous professional engineer. That began a career in 1979 as a roughneck for Argus Drilling out of Calgary. 45 years later.. I've attained a Master's Degree from an Ivy league school and a lifetime of extensive experiences both on and offshore working in extreme climates and conditions. Traveling the globe from Mexico, USA, Canada, Alaska. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Iraq, Egypt, Thailand, Papa New Guinea, Kurdistan and Sudan.

As a seasoned Senior Drilling Superintendent with the above mentioned experience in oil and gas industry.in either Exploration or Development wells. Demonstrates strong leadership skills in managing drilling and workover operations, ensuring safety regulations, and directing rig crews.   • Hired by Drilling Manager Till Huesecken to bring home an 8-5/8" hole section on Mahani-1 . HPHT Explorational Gas well drilled to a TVD of 14,597 ft. that when I arrived has 2 BHA's twisted off in 8-5/8" hole section - depleting sands above oayzone.
  • Reports directly to the Drilling Manager
  • Provides 24/7 field support and onsite assistance for day-to-day drilling operations, particularly for onsite technical support and troubleshooting between the DSM and Drilling Engineer
  • Expected to be present on location for support and advice during significant well control, fishing operations, critical casing/cementing operations, or any other operation as requested by the Drilling Superintendent
  • Mentors, advises and supports the Drill Site Manager and Drilling Engineers on operational concerns/improvements
  • Acts as a Liaison for the Drill Site Managers to relay ideas, improvements, and concerns in the field with the Drilling Superintendent in the office
  • Reviews daily drilling reports and drilling programs, participates in operational discussions by providing accurate and relative information to advise/recommend better operational decisions to improve safety and efficiency
  • Plays a critical role in promoting knowledge transfer and sharing lessons learned between rigs, crews, DSM’s and Drilling Engineers
  • Anticipates, troubleshoots, and communicates with the Drilling Superintendent to avoid adverse operational results
  • Assists Drilling Superintendent in ensuring rig equipment and 3rd party equipment, services, and operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with all Oxy standards as well as applicable state, local, and federal laws
  • Acts as a leader in promoting and maintaining exceptional health, safety, and environmental standards that follow all regulatory requirements.
