As a second-year Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSC) student at Queen's University, I am dedicated to delivering patient-centered care and enhancing healthcare outcomes. Currently, I am completing a clinical placement at Kingston General Hospital on medical-surgical units, where I provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and refine my clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment.
I gained hands-on experience as a Student Personal Support Worker (PSW) during a summer position at Lakeridge Health, assisting elderly patients with daily activities, personal care, and maintaining care reports, all while prioritizing compassion and professionalism. In addition, I serve as a Simulation Laboratory Assistant at Queen's University, further honing my clinical skills in a controlled setting.
As a certified Advanced Medical First Responder (AMFR) and member of Queen's First Aid, I respond to medical emergencies across campus, ensuring prompt and effective care for those in need. My diverse experiences have reinforced my commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in both academic and clinical environments.
