At Community Fire Prevention Ltd. I currently assist the Senior Technicians with annual inspections as well as minor repairs.

I also work on my own some days where I am tasked with completing monthly inspections, winterizations, as well as some basic troubleshooting service calls.

At Fairlane I assisted the registered fire protection technician (RFPT) to test, maintain, and service fire protection systems. I also ensured that extinguishers and emergency lighting systems were in full working order under the guidance of the RFPT.

My responsibilities were loading the truck for the day with the required supplies and stock needed and completing any task the lead technician required, including inspecting and tagging extinguishers and emergency lights, testing fire protection equipment, repairing and troubleshooting fire protection equipment, and ensuring the paperwork was accurate and properly filled out.
