Municipal Government Involvement

I spent 20 years involved in municipal government from Area Councillor to Mayor of Walden and Regional Councillor to City Councillor. I enjoyed almost every day working for my fellow citizens. I got a few really good projects through council such as The S.T.O.P program (Snowmobile Trail Officers Program), A quasi independent Airport Board and Greater Sudbury's first dog park.

I also very much enjoyed my term as a Member of the Sudbury Hydro Board. During that term Sudbury Hydro took  over Sturgeon Falls Hydro.          I would hope that we will be able to participate in more acquisitions to create a stronger more efficient and profitable regional electrical board
