Employee Motivation
I have extensive experience in the field of canine search and rescue. From March 2018 to September 2019, I was a vital part of the Canadian Search and Disaster Dog Association, where I served as the team lead. My responsibilities included training the team of live rescue dogs and handlers, managing monthly reports, budgeting, and conducting training sessions for a team of five, which later grew to ten members. After obtaining certification with the IRO International Search and Rescue Dog Organization, I recognized the importance of assisting in the recovery aspect to bring closure to families. In January 2020, I joined the Canadian Canine Search Corps as a canine handler and have since received three additional certifications. I am currently serving as the lead trainer for our team in Kelowna, BC, where we train, certify, and deploy across Canada, providing assistance in a wide range of scenarios, including drownings, lost hikers, cold cases, criminal cases, and unmarked mass graves.
