Steer and direct meat processing operations. Established operational policies and implement process improvements to ensure superior quality and cost-efficient products. Directly managed and trained new supervisors overseeing 125+ employees. Designing and implementing coaching and cross training programs to develop hourly staff, facilitate efficiency, and improve performance..
Selected Contributions / Projects:
Ran a yearlong project to reduce and manage the consumption of the liquid Nitrogen for the freezing tunnel which led to the savings of $50,000 on an annual basis, along with SOP generation for the new line leads training.
Introduced Capability building plan for the team of line leads by cross training them on each process and SOP’s.
Implemented strategic cost-saving measures to optimize resource utilization, reducing operational expenses while maintaining quality standards.
Yields Improvement-Reduced the cost of producing the product by improving yields.
Continuous Improvement: Played integral role in challenging and improvising the current practices in the plant. Increased the daily throughput by almost 5000kg, giving the opportunity to bring in more business to the plant and moreover build a tracker for continuous improvement project to track the projects.

Supervising a staff of up to 40 employees in a fast-paced production environment to ensure food’s specifications, quality and adherence to HACCP, FDA, and CFIA regulations. Managing a culturally diverse work force.
Working in 5S, Lean manufacturing and Continuous environment, making changes in workflow by making it smoother and efficient as per Lean manufacturing.
Oversaw employee training initiatives to ensure all team members were proficient in company procedures, safety regulations, and job-specific tasks.
Responsible for hiring process and the labor cost deductions KPI’s.
Initiated cost cutting and Efficiency increasing programme, in which number of people working on Deboning Machine, were reduced, saving company, $4800 monthly. Hence, leading to increased efficiency of the workers and more production.
Implemented Tier 1 meeting at the beginning of the shift to address the achievements, goals and concerns within each department leading to motivation of the team.
Cross- training of the employees: Initiated this program, to always have a backup on the production floor, in case if anyone leaves or goes on the vacation.
