1. AUTOMATIC MACHINE PRESS STATION.
Integrated: Allen-Bradley PLC, ABB, and FANUC (robot), ABB Safety PLC B20, Eaton DM1 VFD, Linmot Actuator, Cool Muscle Servomotor, Festo Valve Bank, and Omron.
Description: The project's key goals were to maintain optimal equipment effectiveness (OEE) and achieve PHSR compliance. On the other hand, The FANUC and ABB robots were programmed to deburr, weld, and pick-place the part on the workstation and worked with a team of four to program a machine using features from several manufacturers. We used Control Room to program Cool Muscle and STEP 7 to create five rung logics for Siemens. Moreover, devices connected by TCP/IP using MODBUS and PROFNET.
2. PICK AND PLACE ROBOT (MOTOMAN).
Integrated: Allen Bradley PLC (Studio 5000 Logix), Cognex, HMI, and MotoSim VRC.
Description: The robot is programmed using MotoSim VRC software and a PLC ladder and structured logic to pick the part from the entry tunnel at any place, and the orientation is placed at the washing station. Later, the part is selected and placed at the exit tunnel door after washing. Auto/Manual controls are designed into HMI for user-friendly operation.
