  • My current role provides interior design and Building Component and Connectivity (BCC) strategic advice and planning for Major Crown Projects (MCP) projects including the gathering and analysis of functional program requirements, ensure quality assurance during the design and contract phases, project delivery and occupancy following industry best practice and HoC methodologies
  • Engage with House Officers, House Officials and Service Area Representatives (SAR’s) to define requirements and provide creative design solutions
  • Coordination with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Consultants and the Construction Manager (CM) Team to supports the successful realization and delivery of our program
  • Mentor the project team associated with strategic planning and project delivery
  • Evaluate resources, identify priorities, and assign tasks to the team
  • Oversee junior staff to support development and growth
  • Identify lessons learned, transfer knowledge and evaluate program requirements to support The Long Term Vision and Plan (LTVP) to advise related programs, working groups, and senior management

  • Project: Block 2 Redevelopment, Ottawa Ontario 2033 Occupancy Currently in the schematic design phase following an international design competition awarded in 2022, the Block 2 redevelopment will provide office spaces for the Senator’s and Member’s of Parliament
  • As we continue to gather and analysis our functional program working with multiple service area representatives, strategic planning is underway for key projects decision including the reuse of the Victoria building, loading dock options and feasibility, and the coordination of multiple stakeholder program requirements.

  • Project: Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP, Ottawa, Ontario ($1.2M) 2008 Office fit-up for a law firm occupying 2800 m², including a new lobby and client reception area with custom millwork and lighting

  • Office for Disability Issues, Gatineau, Quebec ($1.5M) 2007 Project designer responsible for office planning, fit-up coordination, and working drawings for 25,000 SQFT space designed to accommodate workers with disabilities such and mobility, hearing and visual impairments.
