I've had a vast career at Fedex spanning for nearly 25 years. I'm driven and determined to apply all the knowledge and the skills I have obtained in commitment to always honor the principles of the purple promise. I have years of experience being a driver and delivering packages using great customer service. Within the last 2 years I have been working inside the office under the supervision of managers Javier Paniagua and Marlene Cordova where I have learned everything I need to know before taking on a leadership role in the company and desire to graduate into the position of an operations manager.
CASUAL
* I started my career at Fedex in 1999 as a AM casual at ONTA
unloading containers, docs and sorting packages onto the
conveyor belt.
DOT/CDL/DRIVER
* Delivered and picked up bulks to and from accounts and
transported the packages to the ramp where I would unload
onto the conveyor belt to be loaded into the containers.
COURIER
* Achieved timely deliveries by closely adhering to established
schedules and adjusting as necessary to account for traffic or
weather disruptions.
PM OPERATIONS LEAD
* Im responsible for setting up for the PM sort by parking the
trucks, and setting up the scanners and making the labels
before the handlers clock into work.
* Lead the workgroup meeting while stretching before starting
the belt.
* I make sure the team is practicing safety measures while also
getting the job done in a timely manner.
* Keeping in contact with dispatch for drivers who may not
make the commitment time for the sort and will have to
arrange for a ramp escort.
* I make sure before the P1 shuttle is to leave I do a PST
making sure nothing was left inside a truck or may have fell
off the conveyor belt. After the first shuttle leaves I'll send
two other employees to do a PST before the second shuttle is
to leave.
* When getting rentals I help with putting the rental info into
the system which will give us a truck number to assign to
each rental.
* I help with running the PM loops when a manager is not in
attendance or out doing check rides by keeping constant
communication with dispatch and drivers.
TRIPS
* I do all the trips for RIVA that includes shuttles from accounts
that were picked up from RT drivers and all the bulks that
were picked up from bulk drivers taken too the ramp.
* I also make sure drivers who do not scan onto a cons
performs a UDC on there LEO if they dropped off there
packages at the ramp instead of the station before clocking
out for the day by checking the RADAR station orgin view
dashboard.
