Taught Art1, Art 2 utilizing two dimensional and three dimensional media. Reestablished a robust ceramics program. Launched Youtube Channel with video lessons and tutorials during covid shut down complete with self-contained student art bags of materials for student's use. Exhibited student art work at school, community art exhibits including Tulare County Office of Education and CAEA regional exhibits for Youth Art Month. Instituted art displays at Bank of America's Dinuba Branch. Co-advised active art club events on campus, led trips to Fresno Art Museum, Fresno Art Hop, Oakhurst Gallery Tours and sketching at Bass Lake, Art Department Tour at COS, and First Fridays, (an art event in Visalia).
Created an innovative art program at Sanger Academy Charter School encompassing Grades 1-8. Integrated cross-curricular bookmaking project for third grade classrooms. Exhibited student art work on campus, in local businesses, and regional CAEA art exhibits. Organized art events where students demonstrated some of the art skills they learned including watercolor and print making. Worked with science and English teachers to plan and execute a field trip to a nature study field trip at a nearby nature preserve on the Kings River.
Taught Art methods classes for elementary education majors and supervised art student teachers at elementary, junior and senior high levels. Served as dorm "house parent" for two week high school art camp on the university campus.
Taught Art 1, Art 2 and ceramics. Organized Art Club trips to Denver, CO to the Art Institute, clay "digs" where students dug and processed their own clay and used it to make a project, and to nearby community colleges to visit their art museum and for art competitions.
