Served as Kern County Rep. 1990-1997, Volunteered for State Conference Committees: Monterey 1996- Registration Chair; Bakersfield 2001; Fresno 2006, Bakersfield 2011, and Visalia 2013. Served as Central Area Secretary 1996-2000; Served as Central Area Youth Art Month Chair 2001-2006. Presented workshops at regional conferences.

Served as Mentor for high school and art instructor for grade 5-6 in Dinuba Unified. Critiqued lessons and units for a variety of projects sing a variety of media, discussed classroom management strategies, \ provided feedback on research and professional development opportunities, coordinated cooperation with Tulare County Office of Education.

Taught Art1, Art 2 utilizing two dimensional and three dimensional media. Reestablished a robust ceramics program. Launched Youtube Channel with video lessons and tutorials during covid shut down complete with self-contained student art bags of materials for student's use. Exhibited student art work at school, community art exhibits including Tulare County Office of Education and CAEA regional exhibits for Youth Art Month. Instituted art displays at Bank of America's Dinuba Branch. Co-advised active art club events on campus, led trips to Fresno Art Museum, Fresno Art Hop, Oakhurst Gallery Tours and sketching at Bass Lake, Art Department Tour at COS, and First Fridays, (an art event in Visalia).

Created an innovative art program at Sanger Academy Charter School encompassing Grades 1-8. Integrated cross-curricular bookmaking project for third grade classrooms. Exhibited student art work on campus, in local businesses, and regional CAEA art exhibits. Organized art events where students demonstrated some of the art skills they learned including watercolor and print making. Worked with science and English teachers to plan and execute a field trip to a nature study field trip at a nearby nature preserve on the Kings River.

• Taught at Highland High school, 1995-2000. Served as VAPA Chair 1996-2000. Taught Art 1, Art 2 and Ceramics. Initiated art exhibits on campus during music and drama events to showcase student art work as well as inside classroom gallery. Exhibited student art work in exhibits on campus, sponsored by Kern County Office of Education, the Bakersfield Art Museum, and regional CAEA exhibits.

• Taught at West High School, 1992-1995. Taught Art 1, Art 2 and Ceramics. Served as department chair 1993-1995. Exhibited student art work in campus art gallery, show sponsored by Kern county Office of Education, Bakersfield Art Museum, and regional CAEA exhibits. Headed community Art Service Project for local non-profit with Art Club volunteers.
• Taught at Bakersfield High school 1988-1992. Taught Art 1, Calligraphy, Arts and Crafts. Created lessons using a variety of two and three dimensional media. Collaborated with other teachers within the department to create a special year-end exhibit. Served as district art facilitator serving as bridge between professional organizations. and district teachers. Helped to organize art centered in-services for teachers. Worked to review the district "bid list" to ensure the best quality and price for art materials for the district's teachers.

Taught Art methods classes for elementary education majors and supervised art student teachers at elementary, junior and senior high levels. Served as dorm "house parent" for two week high school art camp on the university campus.

Taught Art 1, Art 2 and ceramics. Organized Art Club trips to Denver, CO to the Art Institute, clay "digs" where students dug and processed their own clay and used it to make a project, and to nearby community colleges to visit their art museum and for art competitions.
