Reactivation, Rehab and Integrated Stroke Units

• Perform thorough CNS assessments and continuously monitor for any neurological changes.
• Apply Holter Monitors, ECGs
• Manage and perform catheter insertions, blood product administrations, TPN and feeding tubes, colostomy care, tracheotomy care, wound care, patient and family education.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients regularly, identifying changes in condition and initiating appropriate interventions.
• Administered medications via oral, IV, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections and monitor responses.
• Ensured timely wound care for patients, reducing the risk of infection and promoting healing.
• Mentored new nursing staff members by sharing knowledge of best practices and providing guidance when required.
• Perform all required patient care, physical assessment, documentation, medication administration.
• Pre-grad instructor for final placement RPN students.
