  • Provided worldwide physical and technical security for United States Government personnel and equipment that is in direct support of the mission of The President of the United States, Vice President, National Security Council, United States Secret Service and other top military officials and civilian personnel.
  • Integral operative for emergency operation responses to include medical emergencies, fire alarms, Gas leak cordon, and suspicious packages; led drills to diminish response times and overall readiness to prevent security vulnerabilities.
  • Acted as a critical component in several coordinated active shooter drills with the WHCA Marine Security Force (MSF) and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Police Department (JBABPD) which included coordination of EMS Mass Casualty logistics, MSF total force recall, evacuation muster points, establishment of casualty collection points, and communication with JBABPD which overall streamlined response readiness and birthed unit cohesion between the two security elements.
  • Developed the Security Force rotation schedule for POTUS/VPOTUS domestic and international travel missions.
  • Maintained accountability of all sensitive items, including weapons, documents, and other equipment assigned to the MSF’s guard.
  • Provided 24-hour physical security and access for a Controlled Access Facility.
  • Management of (Armory) $1.5M worth of lethal weapons, equipment and non-lethal means. To include: Maintenance, training and official documentation to carry.
  • Conducted foot patrols, vehicle patrols, vehicle searches, personnel searches operated physical barriers for vehicle control points; in-processed visitors to include high ranking personnel from all branches of the military and other government agencies; investigated security violations by operating camera surveillance and intrusion detection systems.
  • Ensured the well-being and training of thirty subordinates at a time and personally mentor these Marine assigned to my MSF section.
  • Orchestrated Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAM’s) daily to the on-duty guards to include vehicle/foot patrols, vehicle/personnel contraband inspections, ID checks, and over watch of the compound to heighten the security of WHCA and disrupt the terrorist planning cycle.

  • Managed the security of four areas of operation to include the Marine Corps’ Highest Ranking Officers and Staff Non-Commissioned Officer, to include Commandant of the Marine Corps, Assistant Commandant, Deputy Commandant of Logistics, Sgt Major of the Marine Corps, the Chief of Naval Operations, and their foreign and domestic dignitary guests.
  • Developed standard operating procedures for hostile individual response that included cordon placement, response time, and communication between MBW forces, DC Metro Police, Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security Agents, and Washington Navy Yard PD to increase units cohesion between security elements.
  • Provided physical security for 5+ parades at Marine Barracks Washington that consisted of 5,000+ attendees to include Government officials and foreign dignitaries.
  • Conducted 11+live fire ranges with M4/M16, M9/M18, M1014 Shotgun, Mossberg 500 Shotgun (lethal and non-lethal), and several close quarters combat live-fire exercises to maintain force readiness.
  • Participated in emergency operations response to include fire alarms, suspicious packages, and cordon and search, and De-escalation of force of aggravated individuals.
  • Conducted foot patrols, vehicle patrols, camera tours, vehicle searches, and personnel searches in support of MBW.
