• MoreOB was initiated at Cowichan District Hospital in 2016. The program is a comprehensive performance improvement program that creates a culture of patient safety in obstetrical units.
• Responsible for presenting workshops and educational material to multidisciplinary teams of Obstetricians, Midwives, Nurses, Physicians, Pediatricians and students.
• Facilitated group discussions and gave feedback as per recommended guidelines or position statements
• Responsible for communicating gaps identified by participants to appropriate bodies and facilitating inclusive discussions around safety concerns.
• Remained on More OB core team until funding ended in 2020.

Business start up including lease negotiations, lease hold improvements, equipment purchase and staff hiring. All management responsibilities including staff training and scheduling, payroll, marketing, conflict resolution and team building. Co-owner of successful business for five years.
