I have been a practicing Registered Midwife for the past 13 years in the Cowichan Valley. I am passionate towards providing inclusive care to all families and embrace the diversity of our clientele. I have been educating families throughout my career as a midwife and continue to stay current through additional workshops and educational opportunities. I have enjoyed my involvement in education including precepting and facilitating larger groups. I am an approachable and thoughtful facilitator and strive to create a student centered and inclusive learning environment. Having fun and having time to laugh remains a constant priority in all parts of my work and personal life.

  • Facilitated group discussions and gave feedback as per recommended guidelines or position statements
  • Responsible for communicating gaps identified by participants to appropriate bodies and facilitating inclusive discussions around safety concerns.
  • Remained on More OB core team until funding ended in 2020.
