Reading, writing, leisure walks, cooking, I love reading, researching and writing. The more challenging the topic, the more I enjoy researching it. I also love to cook and go for long walks. Museums are a real pleasure as they unite my love of learning with art history. I volunteer my time with the following organizations: Member of the New Democratic Party (NDP), volunteer member Canadian Council of Muslim Women, steward of Concordia Research and Education Workers Union (CREW), volunteer at Disability Empowerment and Equity Network (DEEN) support services.
