2009: Chaired International Post Traumatic Conference in Northern Uganda; This conference was jointly run by Gulu University and Uganda Psychiatric Association to address the trauma issues arising after the 20-year-old LRA war in Northern Uganda.

Was the head of all the intern doctors, pharmacists and nurses. Was in charge of their scheduling and coordination for the clinical practice and welfare.

Was awarded the best General practitioner Award because of the hard work and good practice.

• Chief Orthopedic Resident 2013 -2017;

Was the chief resident at Mulago National Referral Hospital. Was in charge of the welfare and accommodation of all residents.

Oversaw orthopaedic practice in the northern part of Uganda and reported to the OSU committee.

Reviewed all Internal Fixations done worldwide and submitted to the sign database. I critiqued the fixations and gave feedback to the surgeons.

2022-2023- Chairman Hospital Infection Prevention Committee; Was heading a big committee tasked to oversee infection prevention in the hospital. Coordinated with the district task force and carried out annual hospital-acquired infection studies.
