As a Course Advisor and Admissions Officer, my responsibilities include, informing students about the university, the programs we offer, the entry requirements, and answer all of the students and parents questions. I do my best to give them all of the tools, in order to have them make an I formed decision about their education, and joining the university. I help students to fill out their applications, I prepare acceptance letters, I email students about their acceptance. I communicate with future students using various means, such as emails, phone calls, if the students have pending documents to submit. I help students with enrollments once they are accepted. I am responsible for preparing spread sheets of students, adding students to one master sheet, and preparing various reports to submit to the department head. I am also responsible to contacting leads from the marketing department, and informing them about the university and courses. As well as other administrative tasks, and assignments that come along the way, writing minutes of meetings, scheduling campus visits by students, answering the post graduate programs students' inquiries, setting up interviews and appointments for them with the concerned Academic head, and much more. In the Student Recruitment Outreach Officer role, I am responsible for setting up school visits, attending school events and volunteering at various schools around Doha, as well as hosting schools over to the university's campus. I present the university to prospect students, and build work relationships with schools counselors. I host schools and students over to the campus, and so my best to convince students to join the university. I analyze school visit successes by gathering information about the percentages of interested students, and how that number turns into applications. I am also responsible for keeping in touch with the schools' counselors to maintain a steady business relationship with the schools.
