I have worked just over 33 years at ICBC as an Office Assistant working most of my time in the customer service areas such as reception, processing glass claims, a variety of paperwork and most recently working at the licensing offices at the Guildford and Langley locations as a Customer Service Representative. As a customer service representative my duties include renewing driving licenses, bcid's and service cards, completing forms and paperwork for vehicle releases, reviews for roadside prohibitions, vehicle impounds, residency referrals and other client inquiries. I am very experienced with dealing with many types of customers and personality types as well as diffusing hostile situations. My attendance has been excellent and I love working with upbeat, positive people. I am a member of the first aid team and have my level 1 first aid certificate from Saint John's Ambulance. My interests include spending time with my partner, Mike and my two daughters age 19 and 21. I love caring for our two rescue dogs Truman and Higgins and we have rescued 3 rabbits and have enjoyed our many other pets (cats, rats, fish). I love gardening, decorating and anything creative including my love for Hawaii and Polynesian dance.
I started in 1991 at the Burnaby Claim Centre where I performed many duties including the mailroom, vendor payment desk, inquiries, switchboard, typing, glass claims and reception for almost 10 years. I continued doing similar duties as well as the loss of use desk, rental payment and mainly reception duties at the Surrey Claim Centre.
